The evening was not only a success in terms of fundraising, but also an example of how collaboration between different sectors can make a significant difference in the lives of people affected by diseases such as ALS.
Last night Palexco dressed up to celebrate the second edition of the Solidarity Window, an event that this year aimed to support Agaela in its project to provide psychological and emotional support to ALS patients. Thanks to the solidarity of attendees and sponsors, a total of 26,500 euros was raised, exceeding all expectations.
The gala was attended by outstanding chefs from the local gastronomic scene, such as Chisco Jiménez (Culuca), Moncho Bargo and Javi Freijeiro (Pracer), Álvaro Victoriano (Grupo Peculiar), Pablo Pizarro (La Empanada Viajera), Antonio Amenedo (Pazo de Santa Cruz de Mondoi), Borja Villares (Koh Lanta), Pablo Morales (Habaziro) and Santiago Gómez (Josmaga). Café Veracruz also joined the solidarity evening.
The event was attended by Alfonso Rueda, president of the Xunta de Galicia and Fabiola García Martínez, councilor of Social Policy. Juana Abellaneda, director of Palexco, and María Jesús Seoane Lema, vice-president of Agaela, also took the floor to thank the attendees and sponsors for their generosity and commitment to the cause.

The funds raised will go entirely to Agaela, enabling the association to carry out a vital project that will provide clinical psychological evaluations and emotional support to ALS patients and their families, from diagnosis to the end of life. During the gala, the testimonies of several ALS patients were heard and the godfather of this solidarity event, Luis Zahera, intervened and sent an emotional message to those affected by this terrible disease.
